This provided a very interesting change to the normal compositing that I had been accused to before. Through the use of the different layers it provided the piece with a sense of depth which added to the sense of realism. Additionally, I feel like my color correcting had reached a somewhat of a peak with the smooth transition from the darker foreground, to the lighter background.
