Snake Eyes- Notan

This is my Japanese Notan. Notan is the combination of lights and darks. I used black construction paper and an X-Acto knife to cut out all the little pieces then glued them to the outside to create reflection and pattern.

These are all my thumbnails that I came up with. I went with the snake eyes because I wanted to challenge myself with all the little details such as the eyelashes and circles.
