During the first semester at Dunwoody, my class spent half of the semester creating a digest in our Design Principles and Applications course. The premise was to fully design and prepare for print an 8-page half letter sized booklet on a subject of our choosing, and I chose to create something of a travel brochure about the North Island of New Zealand. I have been there and performed there with the St. Olaf Band, and I fell in love with the beauty of the island. I believe this short booklet—again, only created during the first semester of my graphic design degree—accurately captures the beauty of the country.
