These pieces are both designed for the Monopoly board game. Initially I tried to go with the branding of the actual company, but I decided to expand on this piece to showcase my creativity.  My original was very rushed and in my opinion not very aesthetically pleasing. I then created the second piece which is an adult themed Monopoly advertisement.  I think I really expanded my creative process with this additional design since it is so far away from what the actual brand would use. I had nothing to look at or really base my design on as I was not supposed to make my new design as cohesive with the companies designs. Having to create an advertisement from scratch has really allowed me to think about themes in a more in-depth manner. Overall, this one design has opened my eyes to other designs I could make that would work really well with this one to expand on this design concept to reach multiple target audiences.
