PSA Print/Web Ads
The purpose of the PSA web/print ads are similar to the PSA posters. The PSA is to spread awareness for depression and suicide. My theme through all my ads and poster is finding light in the dark. This is to symbolize finding hope when you in a dark place. The print ads are designed to be in magazine, paper ads and etc. While the web ads are designed to be on the phone; like social media.

Project Statement
The concept of my project was a PSA about depression and suicide. The images that I used were taken with a camera. The images I wanted to take were to represent finding light in a dark place. This is to symbolize that just because you may feel like you’re in a dark place there is an end and something good that can come from it. I wanted to give a more positive spin to my PSA about depression and suicide. I feel like most PSA about this topic are dark and I wanted mine to be more of a symbol of hope for those going through it. A lot of my headings are done with a curve line. I wanted to do this because I felt like this would bring attention to the headings and by the way I place them on top of the pictures I feel like it also was able to bring the heading and image together. I chose the font because it was something soft but not too cartoonish and I felt like the Simplicitia Pro was the best choice. I used different variations of the font (bold, italic,an etc) so I could keep consistency but also add contrast to the different words/phrases. The main phrase that inspired my PSAS was ‘There is light in the dark”. From there, I just used phrases that gave a similar meaning so I could use them for my other headings.
