Study of simplicity and eye-catching lines in a modern logo.
Coming into the second iteration of my logo, I was happy with the overall concept but wanted to simplify the design in order to achieve a more effective brand mark. Something I specifically liked about my original design was the presence of lines that are contained but evoked a sense of movement. This was important for my design as I wanted to subconsciously make the audience think of audio, particularly a sound wave, but in an organized way . I wanted it to be able to convey my professional goals in the audio and music realm, and equally the fact that the lines are contained illistrates the process that audio engineer go through to organize sound in a product that is pleasing to the listener. Additionally, I thought a gradient and sleek modern font would match the current conventions of audio related logos and websites. I think playing around with the dimensions and height of the font is simply a way to make something simple more memorable.

Concept Development
Creating an effective logo that is both simple, and conveys the desired message to the audience is by no means a simple task. For me, I simply tried to avoid overthinking my design; something simple, modern, and that evoked a sound wave. Overtime, the initial concept grew into a multitude of designs that I had a difficult time narrowing down to a single cohesive image. Overall, while my ideas were fairly scattered, I think I still achieved an effective logo that would look good over the sleek menu of a website, enough to serve my purposes.
