Hi, I'm Piero Galastri, a graphic designer literally obsessed with music.
Played in Italy is a geo-oriented infographic site I made, to illustrate where music is played in Italy.
I've selected hundreds of artists and bands from my country: you can find musicians that had (and have) a notable influence/number of selling albums and artists that are actually good musicians, in terms of music criticism and reviews (and, sometimes, artists with both of these characteristics).
All the artists are divided by region, inside colorful clouds that are actually interactive.
In fact, if you click one cloud you can hear a playlist for that particular region.
