ABOUT THE PROJECT
We created a website for the volume published by the Dutch writer Jaap Scholten under the title Comrade Baron. In addition to introducing the author and the book, one of the main goals was to promote the organized tour to locations related to the novel.
Brand Identity, UX design, UI design
We tried to give the website an elegant patina feel by using blue, gold and gray colors. The additional graphic elements are reminiscent of the world of the Transylvanian aristocracy of the time with the shape of the seal and the key motif of the bear.
The visual world of the website was enriched by the numerous archive images and video materials, with special attention to the home page and the ones showing the chapters of the book.
UNIQUE VINTAGE MAP
Upon the author’s special request, we created a unique map to depict the locations related to the chapters of the book in a genuine way and to show the route of the tour and the accommodations throughout.
