ESPAÑOL:
Realicé una mezcla entre ilustración y diseño editorial para dos cartillas que tratan el tema de la Educación para el Desarrollo Sostenible. Transformé complejidades conceptuales en metáforas visuales siguiendo la línea gráfica establecida en una propuesta de identidad con las comunidades de trabajo. Cada comunidad se identificaba con un árbol.
El concepto detrás de esta propuesta es que los árboles, como seres vivos, representan las experiencias y desde sus diferentes partes la complementariedad del todo. A su vez, se comprenden en una colectividad, con otros árboles -en su diversidad- y también con cada organismo que construye el ecosistema común.
Las ilustraciones fueron realizadas a mano con un estilo ya característico en mi trabajo. La gráfica busca atraer, representar y comunicar esa libertad pedagógica con la que debe ser manejada la educación, como un sistema vivo, diverso y conectado.
ENGLISH:
I made a mix of illustration and editorial design for two booklets dealing with the subject of Education for Sustainable Development. I transformed complex concepts into visual metaphors while following the established graphic line from an identity proposal with work communities. Each community was identified with a specific tree.
The concept behind this proposal is that trees, as living beings, represent experiences and from their different parts, the complementarity of the whole. In turn, they are understood in a community, with other trees - in their diversity - and also with each organism that builds the common ecosystem.
The illustrations were made by hand in a style that is already characteristic of my work. The graphics seek to attract, represent, and communicate the pedagogical freedom with which education must be managed, as a living, diverse, and connected system.
