Aquarius is a metaphysical shop in down town Kansas City, MO. Aquarius has the huge selection of crystals, cards, books and tools to help you with self discovery and be conscientious about how you’re living! I decided to design a bag and a few other items for Aquarius to share the magical feeling you get when walking into their building.
I decided to use purples, pinks, reds and yellows for a watercolor wash to give off that magical feeling. The lines on the bag represent the light bouncing through the crystal showing the shapes and color inside.
The sides of the bag bring out that bright watercolor wash as well as drawings of crystals using a white ink pen. I used a rope as the handles and intertwined magic gold string throughout.
To add a little bit more magic., each bag has a small jar and key attached. The jar can also be taken off and used as a small keychain!
A gift card created using the side of the bag as the design on the card and the front of the bag as the gift card cover. I wanted to give the audience a feeling of magic when taking the card out of the cover.
With this shirt I wanted to draw attention to the logo. I create a small pop of color that really draws your eye towards that pocket. This shirt the employees could wear as well as sell.
