Art and dance are two faces of the same coin, like Casablanca, the biggest city in Morocco which characterize with beautiful places and numerous style. Casablanca is like a Ballet dancer where everything seems easy & difficult, harsh & smooth… as ballet moves. They look easy, but they are demanding too much training and effort. On this project, I shed light on the beauty of Casablanca through the elegance of ballet poses where every place and movement could tell a story if you look at it from another perspective.
We don’t have yet an opera where Moroccan ballet dancers could show their talent which give us an opportunity to expose it in Casablanca streets. Otherwise, we needed music for a ballerina to dance, luckily the city is a song where you could listen and feel various rhythms in their different streets.
This project features the highly skilled ballet dancer Aya Sendby, dancing in the streets of the economic capital of Morocco, and it will be composed in two parts where each part contains 10 pictures.
We worked on this project after the corona virus hit our country which makes the project more difficult, but nothing can stop something you admire, whatever the risk. Its like Love, We all risk it.
