Le vélodrome Sylvan Adams/Centre multisports Desjardins est un complexe sportif de 7430 m² répartis sur deux niveaux, avec une aire au sol de 6040 m@. Il dispose d'une piste de cyclisme sur piste avec des virages inclinés à 42° dans les courbes, d'un gymnase omnisports, d'un Pumptrack et d'une zone acrobatique.
Le projet a été réalisé grâce à la vision et la détermination du Centre national de cyclisme de Bromont. Près de 200 institutions et organismes ont contribué au financement et à la réalisation de l'édifice. Le travail de conception de la signalétique à du prendre en compte le marquage commanditaires de plusieurs espaces. Une approche visuelle contenue à été appliquée pour unifier l'ensemble et réduire le désordre graphique.
Enfin, un imposant tableau des donateurs à été installé dans le grand hall pour remercier ces nombreux partenaires.
The Sylvan Adams Velodrome/Centre multisports Desjardins is a 7430 m² sports complex spread over two levels, with a 6040 m² ground area. It has a track cycling track with 42° corners in the curves, an all-sports gym, a Pumptrack and an acrobatic area.
The project was carried out thanks to the vision and determination of the Bromont National Cycling Centre. Nearly 200 institutions and organizations contributed to the financing and construction of the building.
The design work of the signage had to take into account the marking sponsors of several spaces. A colour-restricted visual approach was applied to unify the whole and reduce the graphic clutter.
Finally, a large donor table was installed in the main hall to thank these many partners.
