A woman does not give life, but gives a part of her own life. That's where babies come from) from a huge part of their mommy's life and a bit of daddy's.

Consolation is a beautiful angel, for whom you feel only love  in hormonal euphoria.
When hormones subside, an angel can turn into a devil.

Usually society tries to see only positive aspects in motherhood. The media also mainly mention the positive aspects of motherhood, forgetting that pregnancy often destroys the female body and raising children destroys the psyche.
