金継ぎ
The art of kintsugi is inextricably linked to the Japanese philosophy of wabi-sabi: a worldview centred on the acceptance of transience, imperfection and the beauty found in simplicity. Wabi-sabi is also an appreciation of both natural objects and the forces of nature that remind us that nothing stays the same forever.

LOST HIGHWAY
Days, months, years are passing by and I’m still looking for something to happen. With my bones I keep following my instincts and beliefs with the hope of a sign but the only thing I see is a never ending drought and nature disrupted cycle.

MILKY WAY
Meanwhile nature runs Her course humanity might as well tootle  off with all of its insubstantial creations, swept away, as dust back into the stars where it all began. Maybe this is what we deserve to fade away into the mist of time forgotten like we never existed. She can start all over again. Nature, it is what it is.

“I wanna be adored”. When I was a child until now sometimes dogs at first sight never liked me! Not sure if they didn’t like my face or my vibes. I can be challenging sometimes in a good way! So in this painting, I wanna be adored and I’ll do anything for it, even if I need disguise myself as a dog. Please adore me!
I usually sand the wood panel until smooth but this time I wanted to keep a bit of roughness of the wood and give it more texture to remembrance an old memory.
I DON’T WANNA GROW UP
My project for the Pop Culture Oil Painting with a Surreal Twist by @bobdob @domestika
When I created this oil painting I was inspired by the song by Tom Waits “ I don’t wanna grow up” , on the album Bone Machine.
I love music and particularly the late 70’s until the 90’s. In my representation of this beautiful song I wanted to play with candid pastel colors and a grumpy child who’s wandering with her bicycle through the countryside. I always and still love to take my and ride very fast until my legs are too tired to do so. Even tho I’m in my 30’s I still like to play and being grumpy! Make sure you keep your inner child with you, always.
