Move is a contemporary exploration of adaptive ergonomics and design into the everyday world of work. Traditional ergonomics considers the body as a fixed element on top of the seat, limited to a single correct posture, and that restricts us when performing a job that requires freedom of movement.

This seat seeks to intervene in those jobs and spaces that need dynamism. Modifying the seat to something similar to a saddle speeds up the sitting. Making it take a high posture and Y position, allowing movement in all directions.
In this project, a symbiosis between handcrafted and industrial process has been generated to complement each other. The use of leather gives a new form of adaptation to the body and iron solidity to the structure, understanding and adapting the use of the material according to its natural characteristics. In this way, a balance between the two visions is achieved.
The furniture interacts with our body and intervenes in our daily lives, for this reason it is necessary to understand and solve those needs that we have in our work and home environments, in addition to understanding different materials and techniques for its functionality.
