DOG HOUSE PROJECT
Este es un proyecto real, realizado por mi propio interés. Más que por necesidad de las mascotas se trata de una caseta decorativa construida por el hecho de plantearme un nuevo reto, tanto del diseño como de la construcción final, y así, además, adentrarme en el mundo de la carpintería gracias a las herramientas que posee mi padre y que me han permitido llevar a cabo el proyecto.
La caseta se hizo en aproximadamente una semana, tiene unas medidas máximas de 55 x 100 x 48 cm (sin contar el tejado). En mi cuaderno elaboré un esquema detallado de cómo abordar la construcción y cómo debía de quedar.
This is a real project, made for my own interest. More than out of necessity for my pets, it is a decorative house built for the fact of setting myself with a new challenge, both in terms of design and final construction, and thus, also, entering the world of carpentry thanks to the tools my father has and who have allowed me to carry out the project.
The dog house was made in about a week, it has maximum measurements of 55 x 100 x 48 cm (not counting the roof). In my notebook I drew up a detailed sketch of how to approach the construction and how it was going to end up looking.
A pesar de ser decorativa es totalmente funcional, las paredes son gruesas y están recubiertas con lana de vidrio ajustado a presión, un aislante térmico y acústico ideal y que se utiliza comúnmente para la construcción de viviendas, lo que la convierte en una casa de lujo ideal para nuestras mascotas.
Despite being decorative, it is fully functional, the walls are thick and covered with thermal insulating rock wool, an ideal thermal and acoustic insulator and which is commonly used in home construction, which makes it a luxury house ideal for our pets.
Para el techo se utilizaron tejas de pizarra, otra opción hubiera sido tela asfática, pero con el material seleccionado conseguimos un acabado rústico y que se integra totalmente con el jardín y la casa.
Slate tiles were used for the roof, another option would have been asphalt cloth, but with slate we achieved a rustic finish that fully integrates with the garden and the house.
El resultado es una bonita casa con un pequeño porche que les encanta y en el que se sienten cómodas y utilizan para descansar.
The result is a beautiful house with a small porch that they love and where they feel comfortable and use to rest.
