Our History
The company was founded by Karen Derdzyan and Armine Ginosyan.
The idea of bringing environmentally friendly projects to Armenia have borne back in 2010. That was a period when tones of environmental issues become visible in the country, many demonstrations, protests and green activities filled the streets of Yerevan.
ecoLED. In 2010, 5 friends started one of the first LED lights importing companies in Armenia. At that time LED lights were super innovative and the company showed good results. The LED market in Armenia was changed dramatically and is a highly advanced industry.
ecoPUB. In 2011, 3 friends started another unusual business, opening a pub in the heart of Yerevan which was totally difficult from what there were at that time. It was the first fully non-smoking place where products and spirits were certified organic. ecoPUB changed the food industry in Yerevan and since it is trendy to be non-smoking and have a special organic menu.
Plug.am. The idea came from traveling in 2012 to California, USA. Whereby coincidence 3 months were passed in a neighborhood loving a trendy eco-friendly lifestyle. The VW eGolf was a daily scene that pushed to do some test drives of EVs of that time and returned back to Armenia the idea of having an EV charging network started its journey. In cooperation with Armenian Energy Agency foundation, the network started to grow and now we have 25 charging stations across the country all of which are Free of charge. Plug.am was a change-making project which encouraged hundreds of early adopters to buy EVs, moreover, the Government also involved adding additional benefits for the field.
Vision
Electrification does not have any alternative in the near future so we are going electric and spreading our ideas to the whole nation. EV chargers and charging stations must be everywhere and high-quality products must drive the field.
Mission
We have a mission to give to Armenian users high-quality equipment with top-level service. We are going to represent only reliable brands with the most reliable products adding a warranty and after warranty service.
