American Graphic Designer Postage Stamp

American Graphic Designer Postage Stamp Project
The objective and idea behind this project was to choose an american graphic designer that we found inspiring and take that inspiration and turn it into a postage stamp. Paula Scher is an American Graphic Designer is mostly known for her branding identity of the Public Theater with her typographic poster designs. With that in mind, I found inspiration for the stamp from two of her pieces. "A lil' sidetracked" I was inspirated by the color palette she chose and the movement of the words within the poster. "Diva is Dismissed" was the second form of inspiration not only because it was what she was most recognized for me (her public theater posters), but the words coming out of her mouth.
