This project was based on Publishing and Narrative, my chosen collection to create a book was based on the Huntely and Palmers biscuit tins. The highly detailed and beautiful tins have imagery that packages the tin itself. The shape also depicts a story its this idea that made me think about illustrating images using the tins as inspiration and later developing screen prints. The screen prints were packaged in a book, and the process book goes into detail about the printing process of the tins as well as the development of my illustrations.
This was an image i illustrated inspirded by one of the tins, this was an image drawn from Ridleys tea tins i found would look interesting once digitally illustrated.
The temple behind was depicted from a real temple in Thailand, its the aesthetic that relates to each other and a new story is shown visually.
As a part of my Collections project I created a collection of screen prints based on the illustrated plates including a process book.
