'Lost Mind' is a personal project that started as an illustration and transformed into a book cover project. With the illustration, the aim was to focus on the eerie atmosphere, the facial expression of the character and on the reflections on the water. It feels like a personal scene, like a moment of coming to realise something with a deep meaning. The duality of the clear shapes of the face with the distorted image on the surface of the water can be a comparison between what it's seen and what we perceive with our minds.
