This was a brief set by Ian Anderson [Founder of Designers Republic, Sheffield] where I had to do 'something pointless' for 1 hour then document the findings.
I thought, what could I do that would bore me ridiculous, as I was brainstorming fiddling with my hair and it came like a lightbulb moment, I decided to count individual hair strands. I then totalled where this would get me in terms of milage, and it worked out at 0.8 miles, which I was shocked about! Then I decided to create a series of posters showing mundane objects you would not necessarily think of first hand and how many would fit in that 0.8 mile space. Boring facts made interesting!
