What a photogenic little Spanish seaside town is Sitges?
The one building everyone who has visited ever Sitges will remember must be the iconic Church of St. Bartomeu & St. Tecla standing magnificently by the sea overlooking the town.
And many people would have checked out the popular Museu Maricel that is conveniently found right next to church.
They will definitely walk past those beautifully crafted wooden panel doors of the neighbouring Museu Cau Ferrat.
Some beaches in Sitges are buzzing with sun worshippers under a canopy of bright blue and white parasols.
While other beaches are more peaceful and undisturbed.
The old town is a complete rabbit warren of interesting narrow roads.
During every fiesta, Spanish colours can be seen everywhere.
It is unsurprising Sitges is popular with artists. There is public art all over the town.
Sunset in Sitges is both romantic and captivating.
After a long day on the beach, one is spoilt for choice when it comes to tasty local food.
Evening brings a different feel to the town, but just as picturesque.
An early morning walk around town brings its own rewards.
Sunrise illuminates everything in a warm golden glow.
Some days the sea is calm and clear.
But on other days the sea can be rough and wild.
But nothing stops people making the most of what the sea has to offer.
Thankfully, the bad weather never lasts very long, and it leaves the whole town clean and refreshed.
Making the vibrant colours easily seen all round the town even richer and brighter.
As a bonus, it's pure luck being there for Catalan Day and was treated to a celebration with traditional dancing.
There is so much more about Sitges to explore, can't wait till the next visit.
