SXSW 2011
… I can’t believe I am actually at the point to post this stuff! It has taken me weeks and weeks of contemplation, frustration, and distraction to finally be at a point to post only a small portion of this HUGE project I undertook...
Three months ago I, my 2 producers and 2 assistants set out on a photo shoot extravaganza like nothing I have undertaken before in my life! The 5 of us loaded up a giant trailer full of sets, photo equipment, props, backdrops, fake snow, you name it and it was in the trailer, and drove a straight 24 hour drive to Austin, Texas to photograph and tell a story of being a musician in todays world. I had no idea what I was getting myself into!
It turned out to be the greatest, most hard working, time I have ever had in my life! I met so many amazing people and heard some of the most incredible stories. Honestly I am having the hardest time right now even trying to begin on whose story to tell, who I met, and what photographs to even show!
