For this project, I wanted to try and take a mythical monster- a Harpy- that already has a strongly defined appearance, and change it around. For my project, I decided to work with the Bearded Vulture, a central Asian bone-eating bird with an iconic and striking appearance.

I wanted to work with her striking orange and red color palette, and find a way to make it stand out. Due to the mountain habitat of the vultures, I decided to place her in a snowfield.

To add a unique element of horror, I decided to make the Harpy massive and human-eating, as well as give them a massive size difference between an average man and herself.
