Design 8 was focused on a comprehensive architectural design. Digitally, Revit was used for detailing, defining the environmental impact, and for the overall model. The program was a Patch Adam’s free health clinic for the Allegheny section of Philadelphia. The healthcare program is “plugged” into a core atrium space which a parametrically define water collection roofing system. This roof would act as an icon in the community. The façade treatments were influenced by client’s wishes of a whimsical space and have playful windows, opening, and color treatments to allow for the mood of the users to be joyful and child-like.
