Chalam is a character that follows me for years now. I tried to told her story many times - by drawing and/or writing - but it did not feel right at the time. So I gave up what I had started and moved on.
But Chalam is still with me, in the back of my mind. And these days, she becomes more real. Her features get thicker, more precise.
Someday, I will tell her story. Maybe sooner than I think. Who knows?

Chalam est un personnage qui me suit depuis des années maintenant. J'ai essayé de raconter maintes fois son histoire - en dessin et/ou en écriture - mais à l'époque ça ne sonnait pas juste. Alors j'ai abandonné ce que j'avais commencé et je suis passée à autre chose.
Mais Chalam est encore avec moi, dans un coin de ma tête. Et ces jours-ci, elle devient plus réelle. Ses traits deviennent plus épais, plus précis.
