Edge is the design for a small shoe boutique located in Philadelphia. The concept for the design focuses on the movement expressed when we walk. The emotion is expressed through white linear planes contrasted against a polished black concrete floor. The staggered placement of the planes run both horizontally and vertically throughout the space. The linear structure becomes an interactive piece to the space. Where it is extruded from the walls, the wave live structure becomes the shelving for product display. Abstracting the emotion expressed through movement identifies the product being sold while drawing the customers into the space.
