Collective creation.

An exercise in Latin-futuristic imagination and critical distancing from our time proposed by the artists Natasha Padilha, André Felipe and Natalia Soldera. Inspired by cabinets of curiosity and European ethnological museums of colonial origin, the project consists of a guided tour of the heritage of a museum from the year 3022 AC (after the catastrophe), which narrates contemporary Western society from the ruins of the city of Barcelona, found by archaeologists of the future.
Playing with this idea, the artists propose a fiction that takes us to a post-apocalyptic future to think about and miss our city and our present in crisis. We are interested in the anachronism of the use of the word "contemporary" to describe a society of the past, as well as drawing attention to the use of the general term Man to refer to humanity, still used to the letter in museums and scientific treatises. The archaeologists of the future examine the rubble of the past to understand how such contemporary Man destroyed himself.
