BCSPCA Adoption Campaign
During the COVID-19 pandemic, thousands of pets had been displaced worldwide. In an effort to spread awareness and encourage adoption, BC’s SPCA branch has chosen to promote through an illustrated social media ad.
Process
As I was coming up with ideas I entertained many intriguing visual elements. But when considering social media’s purpose and other ads associated with SPCA’s brand, it was clear that the solution had to be clever heartwarming rather than heart-rending. Cropping for each social media platform was also a consideration.
