This book won the World Illustration Awards 2021, New Talent category. 

Mai is a picture book that I made as my last project for my Masters in Children’s Book Illustration. It is a surreal story of a giant, who represents what we would usually describe as ‘mother earth’ but we soon realise she is a vulnerable child, much like the Earth, she needs taking care of.
