Dopper / Kumpany | Sylvia Earle Audio Tour

Event production company Kumpany invited me to write a special kind of story for them. One that would be used as an immersive experience audio tour they were developing for plastic-pollution-solution-finder company Dopper, for the product launch of their Dopper Water Tap - that would be staged at the spectacular Naturalis Biodiversity Center in Leiden, the Netherlands.
To begin the evening, Dopper wanted to take their guests on a journey from the bottom of the sea to the highest of mountains, that would draw attention to the magnificence of the natural world, point out the crisis we're facing as a result of plastic pollution, and also create awareness about Dopper's overall mission. To give people time to explore the space at their leisure, we broke the tour into six segments, leading guests to a space where the new taps were finally unveiled.

To my amazement, about a week before the launch date, I discovered that oceanographer extraordinaire, 87-year old Her Deepness herself, Dr. Sylvia Earle would be the narrator. I'm still a bit in disbelief that it's really her voice reading my words, carrying such an important message: that it's up to all of us to protect our incredible planet. Find out how YOU can help by supporting Dopper here: Join the Wave, or by supporting Sylvia Earle's various initiatives here: Mission Blue.
