The sole aim of the LifeGuard app is to increase the accessibility of healthcare services. It facilitates the scheduling of both virtual and in-person doctor appointments, supports real-time health management, drug delivery services, and encourages users to shun common health myths whilst also promoting health databases.
We Identified the following problems such as poor communication, lack of online drugstores, lack of real-time health monitoring, non-remote access to medical facilities, and health myths. Our target demographics are primarily older people and working-class folks who, due to their hectic schedules, lack time to visit health facilities.
This is only the abridged version of the LifeGuard app; a full prototype isn't yet publicly available. The project was presented by I, Adekunle Demilade (Team Lead, Visual UX Designer), Chibukem Obetta completed the user research and user-experience design. Product designers Dongo Ismail, Mercy Ola-Matthew, Afolabi Adeoluwa, and Demilade Fadugba provided support for the project during the CWW Tech Africa Cohort 2 UI/UX Workshop.
