CIAO
Loneliness, depression, lack of self-esteem... currently, mental health is at the heart of young people's concerns in a post-pandemic context. This is why we have been commissioned by CIAO, a Swiss association, to create a series of short videos aimed directly at young people.
We produced three animations, all inspired by anonymous testimonies. They highlight everyday situations with which it is possible to identify like lacking self-confidence, having difficulty finding meaning in one's life, or feeling lonely and wishing to make more friends. These videos also aim to present and promote the resources that CIAO makes available, such as the forum, questions, and answers from professionals or articles.
"One of the challenges was how to represent teenagers. We wanted to avoid a childish style, so we chose references with small heads and long legs. Inclusion and diversity were also essential parts of the brief. We were asked to portray a girl, a boy, and a non-binary person and to show various authentic skin colors."
