HUMAN   //   POST-HUMAN   //   HUMAN
Artificial Intelligence is often seen as a threaten to artists and traditional art, but actually
(as long as there’s no copyright infringement in the input sources and prompts)
it can open also new perspectives to artists themselves,
increasing the suggestions and showing a different point of view.

So...
What happens when you ask an AI to draw something pretty human and abstract
like emotions?

THE BEGINNING OF THE JOURNEY
Abstract subjects are turned into something tangible and drawable, to define prompts.
For each chosen emotion to be represented,
scientifically related informations, associations of ideas and artistic prompts were used.
A human choice for a post-human result.

BACK TO HUMAN, part I
Creating an expressive composition in Photoshop using Midjourney results,
and defining the best color palette to communicate the given emotion.

BACK TO HUMAN, part II
Dots.
To enhance the bond with traditional printing methods like chromolithography.
Here some chromolithography samples:
The files:
15x15cm each, 600dpi, made in Adobe Photoshop, suitable for silkscreen printing.

EMOTIONS

John Keats, Letter to Benjamin Bailey, November 1817
