RECORDLife App for iPhone 5

Proposal
As an art student, I’ve become more aware of how sounds can be used in works of art or as works of art themselves. Sounds ultimately affect us and our memories.  We can identify family members by their footsteps, types of birds by their calls, and even identify songs after hearing just a few notes. All these sounds affect our lives and become an integral part of them, whether we realize it or not.

I wanted to create an app that makes you more aware of the sounds you are hearing around you; an app that would help you think more critically about the affects sounds may have on you. Much like Instagram is for photos, my app functions similarily for sound. You will be able to record a maximum of 30 seconds, which will be then saved to a calender. The wonderful part about this app is that it also functions as a tool for creating your own sound effects, allowing you to export your sounds to Itunes or through email. RECORDLife is meant to be a fun way to explore everyday sounds and used at as a creative tool for those seeking one.
