A group of 54 illustrators created a Card Deck to promote their work.
The cards were sorted, and I got the King of Hearts.
I immediately thought of Elvis, The King, singing iconic love ballads, of course!
Sketch: during the process, the poses changed 3 times. I was looking for the correct one that would express his love and passion during a Concert Show.
Coloring is always a delight, so restricting myself to a red palette forced me to explore details and shades, use different backgrounds for a coherent mood and play with contrast.
