NEW EXPERIENCE FOR HOTEL OWNERS
We aimed to comprehend how users, with diverse perspectives, perceived and grasped the advantages of linking their hotels to Google Ads. Our task involved translating these insights into a page redesign.


CATERING TO HOTEL OWNERS

Recognizing various levels of complexity, we identified three crucial user types to focus on: the owner, the partner, and the agency. Each has distinct interests and information needs, but they all share a common objective—enhancing the visibility of hotels.
Additionally, we delved into determining the primary category of hotels that would gain the most from this redesign. Our findings highlighted the significance of this information for boutique hotel owners looking to expand their business.


CRAFTING ADS FOR HOTELS' DISTINCT BRAND
We seized an opportunity to elevate our clients' brand within the Ads branding realm. By enhancing visual awareness through our hotel ads, we aimed to establish a fresh look and feel, coupled with a pertinent UI. This visual transformation helps our primary audience recognize that our platform is the go-to place for simplifying the process of making their business more discoverable to customers. Google Hotels underwent a meaningful transformation to ensure a clearer and more relevant user experience.





DRAWING INSPIRATION FROM DETAILS
Our inspiration draws from the nuanced way we perceive details during travel and cultural encounters. We find creative sparks in the architectural concepts of boutique hotels—exploring patterns, mosaics, textures, windows, and more. Prior to delving into creative exploration, establishing our design system was pivotal to realizing our visual vision. The intricate details observed in hotels played a crucial role in shaping our vision of how this experience can be visualized and felt.





FROM CREATIVE IDEATION TO PRODUCT REALITY
The foundation of our product pages rested on Atomic Concepts and Gray Components. Beyond crafting a guided storytelling experience, ensuring a well-executed product page was crucial for our client. Through numerous creative design meetings, extensive explorations, and innovative problem-solving, we successfully developed a system that empowers clients to expand, maintain, transcreate, and update their sites. Our strategy focused on building intelligently and efficiently, all while preserving the essence of creative thinking.

FOUNDATION FOR SUCCESS

When crafting our components, we delved into contemplating the various content types required. What's the purpose of each component? What elements should we integrate for future adaptability? How much is too much?
Each component was meticulously designed with a communication purpose, addressing client needs while ensuring visual consistency. The collaboration between the Development and Design teams was paramount—strategizing how to work seamlessly together. Our focus was on constructing molecules that, when assembled, formed an organism, aiding in the creation of page templates for our clients to narrate a guided story. Ultimately, we curated a library of over 20 components, boasting diverse purposes and functionalities to optimize efficiency and page resources.

This page was intricately built with the end goal in mind—an artful mosaic of components providing a guided experience.


LAST BUT NOT LEAST: UI ABSTRACTION
Incorporating elements of the product presented a challenge due to its rapid evolution. Our strategy involved extracting UI components and abstracting them to provide users with a clear understanding of the visual elements they are observing.
