Age Before Beauty - Documentation of Time

Technique used: Pencil (cross hatching, stippling, circular)

During this week I was tasked with documenting time through sketches. I decided the best option were these yellow daisies. In the vase that would be able to document the aging process in one week. 

I started off with sketching straight onto the paper with black pencil drawing the main shapes and patterns involved to get the right composition. The issue with this was that it left behind too much of a mark when I went in with details. This led me to initially sketching placement with a light beige pencil to help.

I used multiple shading techniques to practice and show my knowledge. 

The problem with the different techniques were went applying it into an animation, it won't flow smoothly. This also leads to how next time I need to keep each separate drawing same size to flow.
