"Tudo" is a web-based experience I developed in parallel with the last year of my university studies. It is, simultaneously, an encrypted, collective diary of lived experiences and a notepad for testing different types of coding mechanisms I was becoming better acquainted with at the time.
In its "final"-but-extremely-open-ended form, it was part of the final year exhibition for the Communication Design class of 2022 at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Porto. The title, "Tudo" (which translates to "Everything" in Portuguese), is a direct reference to the lack of direction of the work as a design choice. This is particularly important as this project came about, principally, from a curiosity surrounding the idea of an unplanned, spontaneous coded work.
Finally, part of the media utilised in this work have been developed by or taken directly from message exchanges with the wonderful artist and dear friend, Alina Denzin.
