Fashion, Costume & Culture
As a part of a college project, it was interesting to observe and juxtapose a plethora of images related to movie costumes, religion and overall culture of the Indian diaspora and its homelands. The project was presented in a simple powerpoint presentation, and thus pushes the narration towards the writing and research symbolism to be the highlight.
The main aim was to find interesting connections through a lens of personal interpretations of the images shown, backed up by the history of fashion, including zeitgeist of the times with the respect to the person showed.
