Chinoiserie has been around since the 17th century. The word chinoiserie comes from the French word chinois, meaning “Chinese” or “after the Chinese taste”.
The wallpaper print is inspired by Chinoiserie style. Very subtle colors are taken from traditional Japanese paintings.
