These are just some of my photographs from around Cape Town in 2011. It's a funky, vibrant and exotic city with a mix of modern and colonial architectual styles, set against the dramatic backdrop of rugged mountains. The light and colour, particularly in the Bo Kaap are striking and this informed many of the bold abstract shots that I took.
