Atoms for Peace is a side project of Thom Yorke, the lead singer of Radiohead. The band has a highly developed sound which merges electronic and traditional instruments seamlessly. For the branding of their new album I felt there was a need to get away from the woodcut aesthetic that has been featured on Thom Yorke’s previous solo projects. Through the use of geometric shapes and restrained typography I wanted to convey a feeling of repetition and clarity more conducive of their sound.
