Based on that famous 17th century Athanasius Kircher engraving depicting a hieroglyphical representation of the great god Pan or Jupiter. This has always been one of my favorite engravings and I have reproduced it several times since the early 90's in several mediums but sadly non have survived so I have reproduced it yet again but with more of my own personal symbolism subtly merged into the piece.
