The Cosmic Ray Research Station is located on the highest mountain of the Republic of Armenia, Aragats, 3200 m above sea level. It was founded in 1943 by the efforts of the Soviet physicists Abraham Alikhan and Artem Alikhanyan.

The station, which was once one of the most important centers of Armenian and Soviet science in general, had dozens of employees, today it is staffed by three people.
Gurgen is the head of this group. He likes to photograph the lake and Aragats. There are dozens of photos on the phone showing what they look like at different times of the year. Gurgen, however, does not like to talk, you will rarely find him in the common room drinking coffee or watching TV with others.
These three people are not scientists. Two of them make sure that the devices of the scientific station, which send information every minute to the Institute of Physics in Yerevan, work without interruption. Gohar prepares food for them.
Gurgen, Gohar, and Edik stay at the station for a month. Then they are replaced by another group of three.
