These are a series of stop motion animations I created for my Intro to Stop Motion class. I mostly focused on destructive animation techniques with oil paint.
This was my final stop motion project. I used audio recored of my brother when he was a little kid. I hoped to capture the childlike wonderment in storytelling and imagery.
This quick animation was the proof of concept for my final project.
This animation was my first attempt at destructive stop motion. I knew I wanted to start with desert sandstone forms, and I improvised from there based on the direction the forms were taking.
This week long group project introduced the class into concepts of stop motion.
