TRAVELSCAPE: When I Can Only See Black and White
I believe that life is short yet so vast to see. Among the 197 countries on the planet Earth, only a handful I had witnessed.
Traveling taught me a lot of things about life. I met people from different walks of life. I understood different unique cultures and traditions. Lastly, I appreciated more what life I had and currently having.
I learn to become a kinder person, a wiser being, and a more understanding individual.

THE PROCESS
In this fine art travel series, I create each imagery in black and white. I felt it simplifies the imagery and gives an impactful, dramatic, and timeless aesthetics to the photographs.
I applied my understanding of lighting, composition, and how colors play important role in monochromatic processes. My photographic directions were inspired by Ansel Adam, for the Zone System, Michael Kenna's intricacy, and the dramatic approach of Clyde Butcher.
