NPR Concept Art with RenderMan and Blender

This piece is inspired by the work of Andrey Tkachenko @TkachenkoAndre1 work. The Schwimmwagen Volkswagen was Staged in Blender 3.0 and Rendered using RenderMan Stylized Looks. The final render was done using a single render pass with no compositing work afterwords.
Base model with a clay shader
The scene lit before adding any of the stylized toon controls with final lighting
The clay shader test with the PxrStylizedToon display filter. The purpose of the toon is to describe how the light will affect the scene and the number of toon steps required globally.
Adding the PxrStylizedToon to the beauty pass. This image represents the final tweak after adding the last layer which is the texture. The texture will lighten the image as such the PxrStylizedToon was compensated to allow for more shadow
The first layer of PxrStylizedLines which describes the overall outline as well details in the textures. The details are fed to the line display filter to trace important areas.
2nd layer of PxrStylizedLines based on the curvature of the objects, this ensures the required outlines are kepts which were not picked up by the 1st line filter
Adding both of these on top of the PxrStylizedToon filter
The textures/line shading that will be used to shade the final image. These are 8 tiled images that were created using Affinity Photo
Adding the PxrStylizedHatching ontop of the toon and linework. The integrator in this image is directLighting
The is the final image with a VolumeFog enabled. The integrator in this image is PathTracer.
How all the layers are layered along with the settings
Here is a simple animation on a much simpler object with no diffuse texture and using only the display filters above.
