I am a type one diabetic and this is how i see myself. I am depicted as a cyborg, which is sort of what I am when you think about the electronic pancreas attached to my hip. The color red stands for blood and the flow of life that I am contained within, also the fact that blood plays a major role in my life, as well as red being my favorite color. The self containment of the piece represents the singular environment I have for myself, being secluded and different.
