Moscow, September 2015
Projection installation "Time: View from Above", part of the "Metageography. Space - Image - Action" exhibition, special project for the 6th Moscow Biennale of Contemporary Art.
The city is a process evolving in space and through time.
Digital technologies unveil this process and allow to see the inseparably of the linked space-time.
The visualization of mobility shows how the space changes through time while being penetrated by the chains of citizens activity.
The measurement units of urban metabolism are space-time interconnections / sequences / trajectories, instead of single objects, practices or individuals.
How should we explore and develop the urban space-time?
What is the sense of a certain place or moment in the broader context of space-time trajectories?
What is the role of single actions / lifestyles as a part of “collective game” which forms the spatio-temporal structure of the city?
